About Me

Hiking at Stone Mountain, North Carolina

I’m a thoughtful communicator who constantly examines the ways people and institutions represent themselves to outside audiences. My hunger for consuming and creating mentally stimulating content began at Davidson College, where I enjoyed studying English Literature and Film. My education taught me the importance of analytical thinking, whether I was writing an essay on gender binaries in Macbeth or creating a documentary on varying visual perceptions of Jesus.

I think more people deserve access to the fulfillment offered by education, and I advocate for causes that align with this belief. Likewise, much of my professional work is inspired by the notion that inventive ideas can abate societally-reinforced problems.

In my free time I go hiking, play tennis, eat food of all sorts (sometimes to the point of discomfort), watch movies, and write (if my mind permits after a day spent typing). I’m always planning for an upcoming trip, either alongside a good friend or toward one.
